OUR CURRENT BIKES

There's hardly anyone who keeps turning out on the same bike year-after-year, but on the other hand some of us hang onto our old ones and bring them out occasionally. See below for a small selection to give you an idea of what we ride.

The full suspension bikes are 4, 5 and 6 inch travel. It's been a few years but I have been known to ride my youngest daughter's Raleigh Apollo at times of urgent need! It doesn't matter what you ride, however, as long as the wheels go around.

 

 
 
 

what you need
A mountain bike, anything will do but it should be reliable and safe, and a cycle helmet which we absolutely insist on for all rides.

why you need it
So that you can stop trying to keep yourself amused on lonely rides around your local area.

and tell us that you're interested, what type of riding you like to do, your approximate skill level, your age, area you live in (address not required) sex and as many other details as you dare. We will compile the data and begin the task of categorising our new membership and setting up some initial ride sessions. Phone numbers (home or mobe) may help us to organise things, but e-mail is perfectly acceptable.
